macOS Command Line

The command line can be a scary place when you first encounter it. When you read instructions that tell you to open up a terminal window and type cryptic words and phrases, it can seem like you’ve been sucked into the matrix. But, to be an effective Mac Admin, you need to make the command line part of your everyday arsenal.

This one-day course gives you the skills and confidence to tackle the command line with confidence.

About macOS Command Line Training

During several of our macOS Support Essentials classes it’s been clear that many people would like to use the Command Line much more in the day-to-day support of their users. Unfortunately, the last time that this was taught at a client support level was OS X Snow Leopard (10.6) Support Essentials which has left a skills gap for many Mac admins.

So, we created this macOS Command Line training course, because Mac Admins really do need to be able to use the command line with confidence.

Students should have the following knowledge prior to attending this course:

  • A good understanding of macOS
  • Basic troubleshooting experience
  • Attended macOS Support Essentials

If you’re in any doubt about your suitability for this course, please call our training pros on 020 8645 5806 who will be pleased to discuss your training needs in more detail.
