Getting ready for your repair or upgrade

Prepare your device

To avoid service delays or inconvenience to you, please go through the following steps before we repair or upgrade your device.

  1. Back up: Please back your device up to iCloud, to an external drive or to your Mac. We cannot be liable for data loss, so please take precautions!
  2. Turn off services: Please turn off iCloud services like Find my iPhone/iPad/Mac etc as we will not be able to work on your device if it’s turned on
  3. Have a plan: If you need a repair that is not available same day, you will need to leave your device with us. Please plan to be without your device for 3-5 working days
