Individuals wishing to become an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) must complete one hardware and one software exam at a minimum.

This eight day course encompases both aspects. Four days are spent preparing for the hardware exam and 3 days for the software exam, with one day set aside for the exams. The course is a mixture of leader led theory and extenisive hands on practicals including take apart sessions on the latest Apple desktop hardware.

Amsys are offering an ACMT (Fast Track) course for experienced Macintosh engineers requiring the Apple Certified Macintosh Certification.
(This course covers all the necessary content included in the ACMT 8-day Full Course , but reduces the course length down to 4 days removing all Take-Apart Labs and some additional and historical theory.)

Valid Candidates include previous certified engineers who have let their certification lapse and require an update course and also experienced Macintosh Engineers who previously or currently have worked for an Apple Authorised Service Provider for a minimum of one year.

This course will prepare you for the Apple Hardware Recertification exam (9L0-312).

The Apple Hardware Technician Certification program continues to combine the Desktop (ACDT) and Portable (ACPT) Examinations and Certifications to the Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) Certification which was released in 2007.

This course will prepare you for the Mac OS X 10.6 recertification exam (9L0-353) which is the OS requirement for ACMT re-certification.
