During the 3 days you will get hands on practise to configure all the Macintosh compatible services supplied with Windows 2008 Server as well as core services such as DNS and Active Directory. • Installation: Perform a full installation of Windows 2008 Server.
• DNS: Learn how to configure a DNS server which is a crucial service for Active Directory as well as Macintosh integration.
• Active Directory: Learn how to install and configure Active Directory and then manage users, groups and computer records.
• Access Control Lists: Creating and administrating file sharing permissions using Access Control Lists.
• SMB Services: Setup, configure and troubleshoot SMB sharepoints for network file access.
• NFS Services: Setup, configure and troubleshoot NFS sharepoints for network file access using Windows Server Unix services.
• Print Services: Setup, manage and troubleshoot windows print servers for Macintosh Print clients.
  • Mac OS X Directory Services: Configuring Mac OS X client computers to authenticate using an Active Directory system; troubleshooting binding issues; troubleshooting login issues. Differences between Apple's Active Directory plug-in and third party solutions are also covered.
