The Cisco CCNA network associate certification validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size routed and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. The curriculum also includes (but is not limited to) the use of these protocols: IP, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Serial Line Interface Protocol Frame Relay, Routing Information Protocol Version 2 (RIPv2),VLANs, Ethernet, access control lists (ACLs)

The course is designed for people who are new to Cisco or require certification but familiar with networking concepts and wishing to develop their networking career.
The CCNA is the foundation qualification towards developing further Cisco skills.

This five-day instructor lead course includes both concepts and configuration of both Local Area Networks (LAN) Switching and Wide Area Networking (WAN) Routing technologies.

• All Exam topics are covered
• Delegates have access to their own switch and routers for the Labs
• Plenty of hands on practical labs
• Continuing course support after the class has finished

Prerequisites
Previous experience with Cisco hardware is not necessary but delegates should have a basic understanding of network enviroments.

Certification
By passing the following two exams at a Pearson authorised testing centre, students will gain the CCNA certification.

• 640-822 ICND1 - Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1
