Book an Authorised Apple Training Course - ACMT

Individuals wishing to become an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) must complete one hardware and one software exam at a minimum.

Amsys are offering an ACMT (Fast Track) course for experienced Macintosh engineers requiring the Apple Certified Macintosh Certification.
(This course covers all the necessary content included in the ACMT 8-day Full Course , but reduces the course length down to 4 days removing all Take-Apart Labs and some additional and historical theory.)

Valid Candidates include previous certified engineers who have let their certification lapse and require an update course and also experienced Macintosh Engineers who previously or currently have worked for an Apple Authorised Service Provider for a minimum of six months.

Prerequisites
Must have at least a years experience working on Mac OS X and Apple hardware or was a previous certified ACMT but since has lapsed.

Apple Certified Desktop Technician Certification

Individuals wishing to become an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) must complete one hardware and one software exam at a minimum.

• Apple Certified Macintosh Service Exam, (9L0-008)

The hardware exam allows an individual to focus on how Apple Desktop and Portable computers function and how to troubleshoot them.

• Mac OS X v10.6 Troubleshooting Exam, (9L0-062)

The Mac OS requirement is to ensure that technicians have the knowledge to quickly and efficiently differentiate between software and hardware issues.

The software exam is specific to the Mac Operating System (Mac OS X v10.6).
