Mac OS X 10.5 Recertification

This course will prepare you for the Mac OS X 10.5 recertification exam (9L0-352) which is the OS requirement for ACMT re-certification.

Prerequisites
You must have an exisiting ACDT, ACPT or ACMT certification that is about to expire. We recommend you take the recertifcation course no more than 30 days before your expirey date. Please check which recertification exams you are required to take by logging in to http://certifications.apple.com

Mac OS Re-Certification
This course covers the following the following two exams.

• Mac OS Recertificaiton (9L0-352)

The cost of this one day course is £225 which includes the cost of the Mac OS X exam and one retake if required.

Course Overview
Installation and Setup:
Covers System requirements, installation utilities, errors and issues.

Startup and Login:
In depth look at the Mac OS X boot process including troubleshooting boot issues

Mail:
Look at the new Mail client including troubleshooting

iChat:
Look at the new iChat client including troubleshooting


 

Parental Controls:
Covers the enhanced parental controls in Leopard as well as the types of user account available

Boot Camp:
A look at Bootcamp and some of the issues you may come across.

Time Machine:
An indepth look at Time Machine, how to backup and restore and some hidden features

Print and Fax:
Covers the new features in Apple's CUPS print engine
