Course Overview

Active Directory Open Directory Integration 10.11 is a advanced two-day course, taught by one of Amsys’s master Apple trainers, that teaches how to integrate a fleet of Macs into an existing directory network. This course has been designed for system administrators and IT professionals and it tackles one of the most commonly faced challenges: how to configure OS X computers to access directory services and configure OS X Server to provide directory services in a mixed-platform environment, specifically Active Directory.

It’s more and more common to find mixed OS devices needing to share the same services. The personal preference of most successful executives this days is Apple, not PC and because Macs tend to work so much better, owners are increasingly bringing their own devices to work. This course addresses this trend from the system administrators point of view and equips you with the skills you need to help your execs access company services and directories.
